These are the missions that Highview undertakes as a congregation. We believe that as followers of Christ, we are commanded to tell the story of His love for all the world, wherever we find ourselves. We believe that all Christian churches across the world are part of the greater Church, and that we must all work together in our missions. And we believe that our mission reaches from our own backyards to the other side of the world. Here you'll find a few details to whet your appetite, but for the full experience, ask someone who was or is involved with them. Even better, why not try it yourself?
Backyards![]() On Wednesday September 2, 2015, the world saw pictures of a tiny, crumpled body washed ashore on a Turkish beach. Although the refugee migration had already been under way for years, it was this image that awakened many of us to the crisis. Moved by compassion, several women at Highview began to pray and discuss how God might be leading us to be involved and "Friends without Borders" was established with the goal of sponsoring a refugee family.
